Today we wanted to show you a landscape border we love to use in our North Texas landscape projects. This border is milsap chopped stone. We love laying this stone using a dry stack technique. Using this method, we place the stone on a decomposed granite base that helps hold it in place and keeps the stone from moving when our infamous North Texas clay soil heaves.
The dry stack technique makes it easy to correct and clean up the issue without having to involve a stone mason re-mortaring the border. This method also allows for some fun movement in our landscape design, complementing the home and our plant selections.
If you are considering a project, we would love the chance to earn your business with a complimentary landscape consultation.
