In today’s lawn health update, Ken gives a detailed update about what we’re seeing in our customer’s lawns this spring.
As we say, the recipe for a healthy lawn is not complicated. We need sun, water, and food (fertilizer.) Things get tricky with our crazy North Texas weather, which can deliver cold weather one week and warm temperatures the next. After 40+ years in the lawn health business in North Texas, we know that a cool spring means it will take longer for our soil temperature to be warm enough for some lawns to come out of dormancy. If you have a north-facing yard, this is undoubtedly true and why you are not seeing progress yet. Rest assured, our temperatures will get (and stay) warmer, and if you aren’t seeing progress yet, don’t panic, be patient and stay the course with your lawn health plan.
