Today we spotlight Anthony Waterer Spirea, another one of our favorite plants to use in our landscape projects. Anthony Waterer Spirea produces pink blooms that appear in late spring, early summer in North Texas. It also makes our list for its ability to handle our winters. The thing to note is that it is semi-deciduous (it will drop most of its leaves in wintertime) so it is key to design your landscape to have some evergreen plants around it during those winter months.
