Today we’re doing landscape installation in Farmers Branch. Juan and Ramon are tearing out the old, worn out landscape – including the rusted steel edging.
Decomposed granite can be great base for flagstone. It packs down well and is perfect if you’re going for a very informal, natural look. An added benefit is if you’re near a tree the granite is more flexible, allowing the tree roots to grow without ruining the patio.
Ramon is installing decomposed granite at this McKinney home. We’re creating a path between two homes in a area too shady to grow grass. One of the benefits to using decomposed granite is it allows water to flow through to the foundation of the home.
