The Leopard Plant Makes A Great Choice for North Texas Landscapes

We get many questions from customers on what our favorite plants to use in North Texas are. So many Ken has recorded a “Best Plants Series.”

Today we wanted to show you one of our favorite plants to use, the Leopard Plant. The plant in this video is green, but you’ll often find variations with leopard-like spots. The Leopard Plant has an attractive, alien-like leaf. For the most part, Leopard Plant is an evergreen plant. If we have long-term below-freezing weather (like we did in February 2021), they can suffer freeze burn, but they will bounce back. If you want a visually striking plant that does well in the shade, you should consider the Leopard Plant.
